Adrian Morris, Hughes Network Systems LLC executive vice president and chief technology officer, will address an information technology forum next week the company is supporting as a principal sponsor.
He will discuss the company’s JUPITER high-throughput system as an example of products seek to address the growing demand for web-based services at the VSAT 2013 Conference and Exhibition in Amsterdam, Hughes said Tuesday.
“Currently operating on the EchoStar 17 satellite in North America, JUPITER technology is being incorporated in our latest VSAT terminals” that function to support an international satellite broadband network, Morris said.
Hughes will also be represented at the four-day event by Dr. Arunas Slekys, VP and general manager of the Russia and CIS business; and Dave Rehbehn, marketing senior director of the international division.
Nearly 50 industry speakers and senior business executives are scheduled to attend the forum, scheduled for Sept. 17 through Sept. 20.
