Akima Subsidiary Wins Media Support Contract From Air University

akimaLyxnet, an Akima company, has won a $1.1 million contract to provide multimedia support services for five years to the Air University Public Affairs Base Multimedia Center in Montgomery, Ala.

Under the contract, Lynxnet will integrate pre-prepared text and other content into proactive and timely products and services for Air Force commanders at Maxwell Air Force Base, Lynxnet said Sept. 13.

Further, Lynxnet will add photography, graphic design and illustration into the pre-prepared text and contents.

The company will also be in-charge of training management, changing requirements analysis and multimedia development environment solutions and products recommendations.

The Air University provides Air Force pre-commissioning to professional military education for officers, enlisted and civilian personnel throughout their careers.
