Bae-systems-logo_ExecutiveBiz1BAE Systems has introduced a military-grade cybersecurity suite that is designed to help industrial companies protect their infrastructure from cyber attacks.

The company developed IndustrialProtect to help defense, energy, utilities and natural resources organizations secure their industrial control systems and update legacy technologies, the company said Tuesday.

David Garfield, managing director of cyber security at BAE Systems Detica, said IndustrialProtect works to verify the identity of information senders, monitor how data is sent and ensure the information is appropriate for the receiver.

IndustrialProtect is also designed to provide users security controls in a single platform, protect information sharing and also offer secure connectivity.

The suite contains five features that work to analyze networks without disrupting business processes, block unwarranted systems, preserve data integrity, reduce the attack surface and help users manage control systems remotely.
