Charles Bouchard, a retired Canadian air force lieutenant general and 37-year military veteran, has joined Lockheed Martin as head of the company’s operations in Canada and will serve as Lockheed’s lead representative in the country.
“Charles will facilitate access to Lockheed Martin’s broad portfolio of products and technologies to help Canada address its security and citizen service challenges,” Dewar said.
Dewar added Lockheed aims to grow its cyberspace and security market footprints in Canada and continue its role as combat systems provider for the country’s National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy.
Bouchard, an officer of the order of Canada, retired in April 2012 after a career that included service as commander of NATO’s 2011 military campaign in Libya.
More 700 Lockheed employees work at at facilities in Ottawa, Montreal, Dartmouth and Calgary, as well as Department of National Defence sites across the country.
