Christopher Eldredge, formerly president and general manager of Telx's Ethernet exchange and product management business, has joined NTT America as executive vice president of data center services.
He will be based in NTT America's Virginia office and work to oversee the company's profit and loss accountability, drive relationships with system integrator partners and manage data center strategy, NTT said Monday.
Eldredge will report to NTT America President and CEO Kazuhiro Gomi and be responsible for the company's cloud and managed hosting delivery, colocation services, NTT Communications' data centers across the U.S., product mapping and strategic business planning,
Gomi said Eldredge will aim to help grow NTT America's data center business and deliver the company's offerings to customers.
Eldredge brings 16 years of background in executive management, business development, mergers and acquisitions and telecommunications sales and operations.
He held executive roles at Silver Lake Private Equity, Broadview Networks, Frontier Communications and Cablevision before joining Telx.
