Computer Sciences Corp. has unveiled a new security information and event management service. for enterprises to manage cybersecurity, compliance and forensic investigations.
The service uses the company’s global network of security operation centers and runs on an HP ArcSight platform to provide users security analysis and intelligence, CSC said Thursday.
Samuel Visner, CSC vice president and general manager of global cybersecurity, said the company designed the technology to be implemented in stages, from logging and event management to advanced SIEM capabilities.
“While organizations recognize the essential value of SIEM functionality, the complexity and resources needed to deploy it has been a deterrent for many,” said Visner.
A Gartner report released in May says the SIEM market grew from $1.1 billion to approximately $1.36 billion during 2012, CSC says.
