Exelis and the Naval Surface Warfare Center have signed a five-year basic ordering agreement worth up to $42 million for engineering, logistics, field and repair services.
The company and the center sought to eliminate the need for separate contracts and create a single contracting vehicle for all work Exelis performs for NSWC Crane, Exelis said Monday.
Exelis will carry out work under job orders to support NSWC Crane electronic warfare and radar programs, several of which the company is the original equipment manufacturer for.
“This agreement will help us better serve our customer by simplifying the acquisition process between Exelis and NSWC Crane,“ said Joe Rambala, vice president and general manager of Exelis’ integrated electronic warfare systems business.
The agremeent covers missions in the surface, airborne, sub-surface, ground, space and cyber domains.
