Informatica, Tableau Software Form Big Data Partnership

BigDataInformatica Corp. and Tableau Software have formed a team to deliver big data analytics services, QuinnSight Research reported on Sept. 10.

Informatica will leverage Tableau’s technology to certify its PowerCenter data virtualization offerings and data services, according to the report.

Informatica and Tableau will aim to address cloud-based and on-site big data analytics requirements of customers, the report says.

QuinnSight Research reports data understanding, analytics distribution, data Infrastructure, data cleansing and analytics models and frameworks are key factors to a big data analytics project.
