John Forrest, current CEO of Jonse lang LaSalle’s corporate solutions business in the Asia-Pacific region, will move into the chief executive role of the real estate services firm’s corporate solutions business in the Americas.
He will start his new role in early 2014 and report directly to Jones Lang LaSalle’s Americas CEO Lauralee Martin, the company announced Friday.
An executive committee chaired by Doug Sharp, corporate solutions president, will lead the business until Forrest begins his new position.
In his current role, Forrest oversees corporate real estate services and outsourcing offerings to 130 clients and 14 countries accross the Asia-Pacific region.
He has also helped the firm carry out mergers and acquisitions in India, Japan and Australia.
Forrest has also led APAC regional business lines for leasing and tenant representation, engineering services and property and asset management.
