Microsoft, Array Health Partner for Insurance Exchange Service; Daniel Wolf, Hector Rodriguez Comment - top government contractors - best government contracting event

StethescopeonKeyboardMicrosoft and Array Health have teamed up to build a private insurance exchange service based on Microsoft's platform as Array Health looks to meet the changing market requirements.

Array Health intends to build its cloud-based Spectrum software on Microsoft’s Internet Information Services platform, .NET Framework, SQL Server 2012 and Windows Server 2008, Array Health said Tuesday.

Hector Rodriguez, director of Microsoft's health and life sciences industry technology unit, said the company aims for its technology platform to help health insurers gain access to strategic sales channels in the marketplace.

Daniel Wolf, chief technology officer at Array Health, added the company selected Microsoft's platform in an effort to fulfill the private exchange demands of customers.

Highmark Health Services uses the exchange platform for handling large volumes of memberships.
