Teradata and Fuzzy Logix have teamed up to combine their big data analytics offerings in a move aimed at helping customers make decisions and achieve business goals.
Fuzzy Logix’s DB Lytix and FIN Lytix in-database services have integrated into Teradata’s Unified Data Architecture for organizations to develop analytic business applications by using existing data within the Teradata platform, Fuzzy Logix said Thursday.
The integrated analytics platform works to help clients identify trends, predict risks and opportunities, record credits and perform online commerce.
“Without the ability to bring the analytics to the data, companies cannot meet their need for performing deep analytics and delivering the resulting insights to the point in their business where decisions are made,” said Scott Gnau, Teradata Labs president.
The integrated architecture is designed to perform statistical analyses, Monte Carlo simulations, data mining and financial tasks.
Mike Upchurch, chief operating officer of Fuzzy Logix, said Teradata will serve as vendor of the unified platform and the Teradata Center of Excellence and professional services teams will aim to deploy the analytics services.
