Whitney, Bradley & Brown Inc. has held an event to provide members of the military an opportunity to spend time with their families after years of active service.
The two-day event was organized as part of the Wounded Warriors initiative and featured sporting activities and other recreational activities for soldiers and their families, WBB said Sept. 25.
Semper Fi Fund, Troops First Foundation and the Warrior Canine Connection helped host the occasion at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Penn.
Wounded Warriors works to extend healthcare and medical support to soldiers who return to the country and seek recovery from battle.
This year’s event had 23 corporate sponsors from various industries such as Bair Analytics, Federal Management Systems Inc., EADS North America, NetApp and Vantage Builders Inc.
