World Wide Technology to Deploy New Colorado Army Natl Guard Virtual Desktops

ITphotoThe Colorado Army National Guard plans to award World Wide Technology a sole-source contract to help the component update its virtual desktop infrastructure.

COARNG will carry out a three-phase project to deploy virtual machines and applications and execute a continuity plan for its disaster recovery site, according to a Sept. 11 FedBizOpps notice.

WWT will work with COARNG to implement NetApp products according to project management standards.

NetApp data administrators will help manage storage controllers and technologies that work to protect information in the event of a disaster, the notice says.
