BAE Systems is supporting the 10th annual National Cyber Security Awareness Month this October by profiling the company’s cyber leaders and their opinions on cybersecurity topics.
BAE’s first spotlight feature is on Nandish Mattikalli, technical director and engineering fellow of the company, BAE said Thursday.
“Cybersecurity is one of our country’s most important national security priorities because it allows us to maintain our security posture and economic strength,” Mattikalli said.
He also said that some of the biggest threats in cybersecurity include hacker activists, state-sponsored attacks and insider threats.
According to Mattikalli, cyber threats can be prevented through more vigilance of physical, online and virtual environments.
The National Cyber Security Awareness Month is sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, National Cyber Security Alliance and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center.
