BoeingLogo1 EbizA Boeing division has selected RADA Electronic Industries Ltd. to supply a radar platform for integration with Boeing’s future tactical weapon systems.

Boeing Directed Energy Systems intends to evaluate the surveillance capabilities of the RADA device at an upcoming field test, RADA said Thursday.

Multi-Mission Hemispheric Radar is intended to detect rocket, mortar and drone threats during military and border protection missions, RADA says.

The company built MHR with software, pulse-doppler signal processing, active electronically scanned array and S-band technology.

Users can operate the radar for mobile activities and to support C-RAM, GMTI, C-UAS and other tactical surveillance platforms.

RADA will exhibit its radar system at an Association of the United States Army event, to be held from Oct. 21 through 23 in Washington, D.C.
