Capgemini and Cloudera have formed a partnership to combine Cloudera’s big data administration and analytics platform and Capgemini’s business information management experience in the big data market.
Both companies aim to help businesses around the world use giant volumes of information, the companies said Thursday.
“Together with Cloudera, we help organizations work to optimize their current technology investments, exploit massive data volumes and new data types,” said Scott Schlesinger, Capgemini senior vice president and head of business information management.
The companies are combining Cloudera’s Platform for Big Data and Capgemini’s Big Data Service Center with the goal of giving businesses a competitive advantage.
Cloudera’s tool works to process, analyze and store vast amounts of data and data types and Capgemini’s infrastructure uses the Rightshore approach for managing enterprise-level data analytics.
The companies have been working for the past two years to develop offerings for the global market.
