Dell has updated its suite of private cloud services that are intended to help enterprises process workloads in a compliant and secure computing environment.
Cloud Onsite Service works to provide remote managed infrastructure support for customers who seek to deploy applications on premise, Dell said Tuesday.
The firm’s Cloud Dedicated Service aims to ensure that virtual activities in a hosted architecture comply with security requirements for payment card information processing.
Jeremy Ford, Dell executive director of cloud services, said the new offerings are designed to help organizations fulfill compliance goals.
“Business continuity, security and compliance are consistently at the top of our customers’ priorities for their private cloud infrastructures,” he added.
The company offers vulnerability management, web application scanning and global threat intelligence services as add-ons to cloud dedicated service.
Dell also added backup and recovery features to the hosted private cloud for enterprises to protect information technology systems during a disaster.
