Dun & Bradstreet has updated its big data and analytics application programming interface service with the goal of helping organizations build up collaborations and make decisions.
The cloud-based D&B Direct 2.0 features an integrated web services platform, risk scores and ratings, fraud and compliance monitoring, and digital and social intelligence tools, D&B said Wednesday.
Laura Kelly, senior vice president and chief product officer at D&B, said the company wants the new version of D&B Direct to help enterprise customers store information in organizational repositories, analyze large volumes of data and share intelligence with business decision makers.
D&B Direct 2.0 uses DUNSRight technology based on the D-U-N-S Number, which works to record financial data, contacts, social media, news, and industry data for companies to view insights into customers, prospects, suppliers and partners.
The updated big data and analytics API is also designed for supply chain executives to examine supplier and distributor performance and forecast supply disruptions, Dun & Bradstreet says.
Marketing executives and sales and service executives use the updated service to seek new markets and monitor buying trends.
