A property insurance provider in the U.S. has invested an additional $725,000 toward its Kofax product suite in order to expand disaster claims service offerings.
The insurance provider uses Kofax Communications Server, Kofax VRS Elite and Kofax Professional Services to process claims after large-scale events such as severe weather, fire and earthquakes Kofax said Tuesday.
“While they already had an effective system for managing a very high volume of claims, they wanted to prepare for potential scenarios that could push the limits of their processing capabilities,” said Howard Dratler, Kofax executive vice president of field operations.
Kofax developed the Communications Server to exchange business information and VRS Elite to scan and capture documents and images.
The software maker also works with clients to deliver products that meet their requirements.
