Mark Pettigrew has been named the new managing director of CH2M Hill‘s Australia and New Zealand operations.
Prior to his appointment, Pettigrew was managing director of AECOM‘s operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia, the company announced Tuesday.
“There is no doubt the market has tightened, and it's getting harder to predict the return interval and cyclical nature of the resources sector,” Pettigrew said.
“Future success will be measured less by how quickly we can get bums on seats, and more by how efficiently firms can innovate and deliver great outcomes for clients who have less money to spend,” he added.
CH2M Hill has 350 staff across offices in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne and recently acquired Halcrow Group Ltd.
