MarkLogic and Esri have partnered to consolidate their technologies in order to help government customers access different types of data sources.
The companies combined MarkLogic’s NoSQL and Esri’s ArcGIS database platforms for users to develop Web interfaces that are intended to help view and connect to data from NoSQL using ArcGIS mapping tools, Esri said Monday.
Kevin Shelly, vice president of sales for MarkLogic’s North America public sector, said the companies aim to help defense and intelligence customers collect and analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources in a geospatial context.
The integrated application is designed to use open application programming interfaces from the ArcGIS platform and basemaps, work with various layers and display attribute-level data based on NoSQL structures.
