OracleLogoOracle has released an updated data integration software designed for organizations to extract, transform and load information into a replicated database system.

Data Integrator 12c is intended to operate with the GoldenGate 12c replication platform and support cloud computing, analytics and business intelligence technologies, Oracle said Thursday.

GoldenGate works to capture and deliver data in heterogeneous environments.

“The management and utilization of data is becoming increasingly complex, as the number and diversity of data sources organizations interact with continues to grow,” said Brad Adelberg, Oracle vice president of development.

Oracle also designed the integration tool to work with Hadoop, Apache Hive and Oracle data warehouses.

GoldenGate also aims to protect and replicate workloads in real-time for database platforms that are hosted on third-party public clouds.
