Peter Malone Joins Carlyle Group in Operating Executive Role; Adam Palmer Comments

Carlyle Group logoPeter Malone, formerly a founding partner at CSP Associates, has joined The Carlyle Group as an operating executive for the firm’s global aerospace, defense and government services group.

Malone will work with Carlyle professionals to identify acquisition opportunities and advise portfolio company executives on operational, growth and programmatic strategies, Carlyle announced Oct. 10.

He joined CSP Associates in 1985 and serves on the boards of ILC Industries and Oceus Networks.

Adam Palmer, Carlyle managing director and group head, said Malone advised the firm on several aerospace and defense deals over the past two decades.

Malone joins a team of 25 other senior business executives that provide strategic guidance to Carlyle’s companies in various industries.
