SaaS Provider Green Status Pro Moves to IBM SoftLayer Cloud; Lance Crosby Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Cloud Computing, ExecutiveBizSoftLayer‘s cloud technology has been selected by Green Status Pro for a software-as-a-service offering that intends to help manufacturers automate due diligence and comply with government regulations.

Green Status Pro offers an SaaS platform for corporations to manage reports under a Securities and Exchange Commission rule that requires businesses to disclose conflict minerals in their products, SoftLayer parent IBM said Friday.

“Our mission at Green Status Pro is to streamline the tasks of operating managers, helping to free them from spending excessive amounts of time, money and labor adhering to these new regulations,” said Rob Kasameyer, Green Status Pro president.

Lance Crosby, SoftLayer CEO, said the cloud technology works to address security and server performance issues in a virtual computing environment.

Green Status Pro aims for the SoftLayer infrastructure to serve roughly 6,000 corporations and their suppliers.
