Siemens, Calgary Scientific Install Intermountain Imagery System; Kurt Reiff Comments

StethescopeonKeyboardSiemens Healthcare and Calgary Scientific have partnered to deploy a medical platform at Intermountain Healthcare to clinicians view diagnostic images on mobile devices.

ResolutionMD works to help physicians access medical reports from any location and share laboratory results with other healthcare providers, Calgary Scientific said Wednesday.

Kurt Reiff, vice president for SYNGO Americas at Siemens Healthcare, said the firm works to help customers implement Calgary Scientific’s enterprise-class platform.

The team integrated the viewing software with Intermountain’s electronic medical records system and medical imaging technologies from multiple vendors.

Calgary Scientific also intends for its platform to help the healthcare organization build a single virtual database for clinical records.
