VMware has introduced new cloud-based services and updated its existing information technology automation offerings for multiple platforms.
The company unveiled the vCloud Automation Center 6.0, vCenter Operations Management Suite 5.8, VMware IT Business Management Suite and VMware vCenter Log Insight 1.5, said Tuesday.
A refreshed vCloud Suite 5.5 for automation and management is also available.
Ramin Sayar, senior vice president and general manager of cloud management at VMware, said the company aims to help organizations fulfill their IT requirements and deliver agile services.
The vCloud Automation Center 6.0 is intended to help customers design IT applications and to complement existing technologies for infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and desktop-as-a-service.
VMware also built the vCenter Operations Management Suite 5.8 for IT departments to centralize operations and monitor applications across virtual, physical and cloud environments, as well as the IT Business Management Suite for controlling costs.
The vCenter Log Insight works to track data from applications, virtual platforms and hardware.
VMware also teamed up with EMC to develop the vSphere Data Protection for storage and back-up technologies.
