CA Technologies has been chosen for the United Nations’ integrated corporate sustainability and baseline financial performance global stock index.
The United Nations Global Compact 100 recognizes companies that work to adopt the index’s 10 principles on executive leadership and baseline profitability, the company announced Tuesday.
For the third consecutive year, CA was also named as a component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes World Index and North America Index.
Erica Christense, CA Technologies vice president of corporate social responsibility, said the recognitions indicate how investor organizations are noticing the company’s sustainability policies and activities.
“Making the connection between responsible business practices and stock-market returns is not always easy to grasp,” Christense added.
According to the company, the DJSI is one of the first global indexes to track how companies perform in sustainability.
