Ciber has developed and deployed its first cloud-based vendor portal for the State of Rhode Island’s Women, Infants and Children agency.
The vendor portal, which was created in five months, is built on the Salesforce platform to automate vendor enrollment processes and interface with the state’s other WIC programs, Ciber announced Monday.
“This engagement demonstrates Ciber“™s ability to quickly implement Salesforce solutions due to the flexibility of the Salesforce Platform,” said Scott Hanson, Ciber vice president.
“Delivering WIC“™s vendor portal through the cloud was key to making the solution viable and cost-effective for WIC,” he added.
Ciber will also provide the state with support and maintenance through the first year of the system’s operations.
WIC personnel are able to changes to the system without the need for on-site contractors or developers because the offering is configurable, according to the release.
