CSC-logo - ExecutivemosaicComputer Sciences Corp. has introduced a threat detection tool intended to help businesses counter attacks and boost cybersecurity infrastructure.

The threat detection system works to target non-signature-based malware using the Trend Micro Deep Discovery software suite for threat analysis and response, CSC said Monday.

Samuel Visner, vice president and general manager for CSC Global Cybersecurity, said the company aims for the new product to help customers protect critical infrastructure systems, intellectual property, financial information and other sensitive data from threats.

“Advanced threats, sometimes called weapons-grade threats, represent an important cybersecurity challenge, reflecting both technical sophistication, operational resources and discipline in the hands of skilled human adversaries,“ he added.

The technology is built to secure information technology links between various businesses from intruders.
