George Borgh serves as vice president of strategic alliances and business development at Philips Government Solutions.
Prior to assuming this role, Borgh worked at Siemens Government Services, Inc. as VP of sales, business development and marketing and for Siemens One, a corporate business development organization for Siemens from 2006-2011.
The 25-year commercial industry and military veteran began his professional life as an Army infantry enlisted soldier, then went through officer candidate school. BorghҪs secondary military role was as a Foreign Area Officer attached to the Defense Attach̩Ҫs Office, US Embassy Germany and Civil Military Affairs and Operations Officer attached to the Host Nation Activities Group, HQs US Army Europe.
After serving his country honorably, Borgh was appointed to varying positions of leadership internationally with AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya.
He served in his last role as VP of government solutions, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with Avaya from 1992-2004.
From 2004-2006, he co-managed the development and organization of a new IP communications start-up company, Vonexus, Inc. entering the competitive IP telecommunications market.
George earned a Bachelors of Science Degree from Troy State University and a Master of Arts Degree from Indiana University.
