Informatica Corp. has released a new version of its cloud-based integration and data management services in a move aimed at helping customers derive value from cloud applications.
The Informatica Cloud Winter 2014 features technologies for unifying business processes, automating options for mobile users and generating test data, Informatica said Tuesday.
Juan Carlos Soto, senior vice president and general manager of cloud integration at Informatica, said the updated cloud offering is intended to help clients consolidate cloud patterns and unlock the value of enterprise applications.
Informatica intends for the Cloud Winter updates to integrate cloud data, service and process integration across systems; provide access to consumer applications through interfaces; crowd-source integration processes and connect various departments.
Cloud Winter 2014 also extends the Salesforce Outbound Message Support with custom templates in order to deploy integrations arising from Salesforce incidents.
The Cloud Extend features mobile apps for iPhone and Android devices, embedded guides and a skip button.
