MarkLogic 7 features new search and application tools designed for cloud deployments and migration of workloads between infrastructures, MarkLogic said Nov. 13.
Joe Pasqua, MarkLogic senior vice president of product strategy, said the company intends for the updated data offering to help clients interoperate between the cloud and on-premise platforms.
MarkLogic 7 is built to run across various availability zones, deploy clusters on AWS and provide Amazon Machine Image, monitoring, documentation and support services.
The database works with Amazon Simple Storage Service to store and back up data.
MarkLogic 7 also features guidelines, scripts and tools that work to handle clusters on AWS.
