NTT-DATANTT DATA has entered into an agreement to purchase all outstanding shares of Spain-based information technology and consulting services provider everis Group for an undisclosed sum.

NTT DATA already owned a 64 percent stake in everis and intends for the buyout to expand its global portfolio of IT offerings, the companies said Monday.

“Welcoming everis to NTT DATA will enable us to leverage their comprehensive IT services both in Europe and Latin America,“ said Toshio Iwamoto, NTT president and CEO.

“Becoming part of this great group grants us many possibilities to develop large and complex projects, offer new services, access new countries and strengthen our leadership in the markets where we operate,” said everis CEO Benito Vazquez.

Everis provides strategy, application development, business process outsourcing and systems integration services to clients in the insurance, telecommunications, banking, utilities and government sectors.

The company maintains nearshore and offshore service centers and holds a Capability Maturity Model Integration level 5 certification.
