Cisco Execs to Discuss 'Internet of Everything' in Public Sector - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Cisco-LogoCisco is set to present a new study on the impact of connected objects on public sector organizations over the next decade at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014.

Company executives will also share business insights, including Chairman and CEO John Chambers, who will discuss on Jan. 7 how the Internet of Everything could transform industries, Cisco said Thursday.

Pat Finn, senior vice president for the U.S. public sector; and Wim Elfrink, EVP for industry services and chief globalization officer; will also tackle the implications of IoE to the public in a roundtable discussion on Jan. 8 with customers such as the Smithsonian Institute, City of Barcelona and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dan Kent, director for U.S. public sector; and Joseph Bradley, managing director of Cisco consulting services, will also join that roundtable.

Cisco will also present a new study that seeks to measure the value of the IoE to public sector organizations.
