Executive Profile: Katie Crotty, Praescient Analytics CEO

Katie Crotty

Katie Crotty has led Alexandria, Va.-based analytics technology provider Praescient Analytics, since helping co-found the company in 2011 with Patrick Ryan and Yvonne Soto.

Crotty is in charge of the company’s work to advance client relationships, manages business development strategies and seeks to implement new technical, training and analytics innovations.

Prior to Praescient, she served as deputy vice president of Berico Technologies‘ consulting business unit between October 2008 to September 2011. There, Crotty helped grow Berico to 150 employees from 30 and increase its number of contracts to 23 from five.

She joined Berico after serving four years of service in the U.S. Army, where she served as a captain and helped coordinate technologically advanced missions with the Stryker Brigade Combat Teams.

Crotty earned a Master of Arts in intelligence studies from the American Military University and a bachelor of arts degree in foreign diplomacy, peace and security with a minor in international relations from the University of Washington.
