Exelis Inc. has won a potential $7.5 million contract to provide an air traffic control radar system to the Swedish military.
The company will supply its GCA-2000 transportable radar technology for Swedish armed forces to monitor airfield acivities and comply with international standards, Exelis said Monday.
Dave Prater, vice president and general manager of Exelis’ radar, reconnaissance and undersea systems business, said the company has supported air traffic management in the European nation for three decades.
Exelis offers military customers a range of three-dimensional air defense radars for naval and tactical applications.
