General Dynamics Information Technology - ExecutiveMosaicA General Dynamics business unit is expanding its office in Las Cruces, N.M. and plans to create additional 200 full-time jobs in the city, the Las Cruces Sun-News reported Monday.

Lindsey Anderson writes that Gov. Susana Martines said the job opportunities at General Dynamics Information Technology range from entry-level to management in back-office support services.

The unit’s facility is located at Hickory Loop, Las Cruces, inside the Dona Ana County.

“The General Dynamics expansion is also emblematic of our efforts to develop the information cluster that we have been working on in New Mexico and establishing it as one of our seven focal areas for job growth,” Martinez said, according to the report.

Some of these areas are aerospace and aviation, distribution and warehousing, energy and transportation, the report noted.
