Juniper Networks has secured a deal to supply and deploy a new network platform for a U.K. university to manage business applications and online learning services, Datacenter Dynamics reported Wednesday.
Dan Bone writes Oxford Brookes University will use the Juniper infrastructure to deliver student services both on campus and at residence halls.
Oxford Brookes’ network will make use of Juniper’s EX4500 Ethernet switches and SRX3600 Services Gateway routers that work to secure multimedia communications, Bone writes.
Juniper also intends for its technology to manage wired network devices and simplify application management across the campus, according to the article.
