CGI has been recognized as a leader for smart grid services in an IDC vendor assessment report released this month that cites the company’s global customer base and diverse project portfolio.
The “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide IT Professional Services for Utility Smart Grid 2014 Vendor Assessment” report evaluated CGI and other providers of utility smart grid services in terms of offerings and client ratings of performance.
CGI said Tuesday its services extend across continents and include partnership with other energy and utility projects.
The company works with clients to develop initiatives for smart technologies around differences in circumstance and requirements around the world.
