HuntingtonIngallsLogoJeffery Baker has been named the new assistant vice president at the Broomfield, Colo., office of S.M. Stoller Corp., a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries, effective Feb. 10.

Baker is currently the deputy director of the project management coordination office for the U.S. Department of Energy, the company announced Monday.

He will be in-charge of the company’s business and sustainable markets development.

“Jeff is a nationally recognized leader in sustainability and alternative energy sources who has been routinely engaged by DOE executives to resolve challenging policy, mission and operational issues,” said Nick Lombardo, Stoller President.

Baker is also the senior member of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s leadership team.

He has also served as the department’s office of laboratory operations director and solar energy research institute area office staff engineer.
