Kofax Ltd. has introduced a new mobile capture platform offering for organizations to extend applications to customers.
Clients are able to deploy various mobile apps through the platform that uses image capture, data extraction and analytics technologies, Kofax said Thursday.
Drew Hyatt, senior vice president of mobile applications at Kofax, said the company intends for the tools to help customers seek business opportunities in the mobile market.
The platform offering works to extract and submit data from captured documents for processing.
Kofax also unveiled new frameworks for mobile bill pay and mobile check deposit apps.
The mobile bill pay app features an image perfection system and the Mobile Check Deposit app is built for banking customers to deposit checks by using their mobile devices.
