GA-ASI has been accredited by U.K’s military aviation authority through the Design Approved Organization Scheme., GA-ASI said Jan. 30.

The DAOS accreditation provides safety requirements for unmanned aerial systems and equipment.

Frank Pace, GA-ASI president of aircraft systems, said the business unit designs its remotely piloted aircraft to meet airworthiness criteria of international customers

GA-ASI works with RUAG Aerospace Services GmbH and Fokker Technologies to develop strategies for meeting airworthiness standards set by NATO and the U.K.’s Ministry of Defence.
