A division of L-3 Communications has signed a three-year contract with Optometrics for the supply of optical components worth more than $4 million.
Laura Lunardo, chief operating officer of Optometrics, said Monday the Dynasil company expects to create about 15 new jobs to scale production in order to meet the supply agreement terms.
Watertown, Mass.-based Dynasil is a manufacturer of homeland security, industrial and medical optical detection and analysis components.
