Mark Lester: MTSI to Offer Technical, Engineering Work Under GSA’s OASIS SB Vehicle

MTSIModern Technology Solutions Inc. has been selected for three categories in the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services governmentwide contract vehicle for small businesses.

MTSI secured spots in OASIS SB’ vendor pools for research and development work on aircraft, aircraft parts, space vehicles and guided missiles, the company said Tuesday.

Mark Lester, MTSI’s senior director of business development, said the company will offer agencies technical and engineering services through OASIS SB.

According to the company, OASIS SB could be worth worth up to $10 billion over 15 years for all awardees.

Brian Harrell, former assistant secretary for infrastructure protection at the Department of Homeland Security, has joined the board of advisers of Bethesda, Maryland-based cybersecurity firm CyVision Technologies. He served as the first assistant director for infrastructure security at DHS' Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and is the chief security officer at energy company Avangrid.
