mobile, tablet, device, mobilityAccenture and Samsung Electronics have partnered to help enterprise customers procure and implement Android devices that are built to support Samsung’s Knox mobile security platform, the Economic Times reported Friday.

Harichandan Arakali writes the companies aim to offer pre-packaged software applications and managed service offerings through the partnership.

Jin Lee, senior managing director at Accenture Mobility, said the goal is to help clients adopt and manage “out-of-the-box” mobility tools, according to the report.

Accenture will provide technical, resale and go-to-market services for Samsung Knox, Arakali reports.

The alliance will initially market its offerings in the retail, insurance, banking and energy sectors.
