Circor Aerospace and DefenseVincent Sandoval has joined engineered product provider CIRCOR International as president of the company’s aerospace and defense group, effective March 19.

He most recently served as president of the Semco Instruments subsidiary TransDigm Group, CIRCOR announced Thursday.

Scott Buckhout, CIRCOR president and CEO, said Sandoval will work to help the company improve its operating margins, customer relationships in the aerospace and defense segment.

Sandoval joined TransDigm in 2010 after a two-decade career at Parker Hannifin Corp.
