Booz Allen to Back APHA’s National Public Health Week; Susan Penfield Comments

Booz Allen Hamilton will support the American Public Health Association’s National Public Health Week through health services projects during April.

Booz Allen will work with clients to develop technologies for raising awareness and helping to improve response times to public health crises, the firm announced Wednesday.

“Booz Allen is committed to helping our clients enhance the lives of Americans through innovation and advancement of the public health system,” said Susan Penfield, a Booz Allen executive vice president and chief of the firm’s health business.

“By focusing our capabilities on healthcare initiatives we can support our clients’ missions to optimize efficiencies in public health systems and safeguard products.”

“National Public Health Week is a tremendous opportunity to educate the public on the benefits of prevention and preparedness, and discuss the critical factors for next generation public health,” added Grant McLaughlin, a Booz Allen vice president.
