Andrea Cunningham, founder and president of marketing consultancy Series C, has joined Avaya as chief marketing officer and will be based in Santa Clara, Calif.
She will oversee strategic initiatives related to product marketing, branding, field marketing and demand generation for the company’s suite of enterprise communication and collaboration technology offerings, Avaya said Thursday.
Cunningham is a board member at The Aspen Institute, Peninsula Open Space Trust and ZERO1: The Art & Technology Network.
She worked with Apple co-founder Steve Jobs for the market launch of Mac computers and continued to assist Apple through her public relations firm, Cunningham Communication.
She holds memberships in the Women Corporate Directors, CEO, WPO and TED organizations.
