Bob Evans, former president and CEO of Evans Consulting Group, has joined Attain as managing director and will oversee the formation of a new financial aid management and student services practice.
The practice, to be established under the company’s Higher Education and Academic Medical Centers division, is expected to address institutions’ operational, enrollment and retention concerns, Attain said Thursday.
“With nearly 40 years of student financial aid experience, Bob brings his consummate vision, skills, and reputation to the establishment of Attain’s new practice,” said Greg Baroni, Attain’s chairman and CEO.
A past president of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, Evans worked on financial aid management for the higher education communities at ECG, Penn State University, Kansas State University and Oglethorpe University.
He also served as director for policy development at the Education Department‘s Office of Postsecondary Education and senior manager and practice leader for KPMG’s student services practice.
