IBMlogo3 EbizIBM has introduced two security tools that the company built to help large enterprise customers safeguard their data and systems from cyber threats, USA Today reported Monday.

Elizabeth Weise writes that IBM designed its Threat Protection System to serve as a one-stop cyber defense program.

The Critical Data Protection product works to secure corporate documents on acquisitions, divestitures, board meetings and intellectual property, according to Weise’s article.

Kristin Lovejoy, general manager of IBM’s security services division, was quoted as saying the business develops software to protect critical files that are stored, copied or e-mailed by enterprise users.
